On behalf of the Permanent Steering Committee we would like to invite you cordially to the international exhibition accompanying the 11th Conference on Lasers in the Conservation of Artworks to be held in Kraków, July 19 – 23, 2016, at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts.
As in the previous meetings (the last three: 2009 Sibiu, Romania; 2011 London, UK and 2014 Sharjah, United Arab Emirates) the main goal of the Conference is to bring together researchers, conservators and conservation scientists, companies, architects, decision-makers and experts in laser-based techniques for the conservation of cultural heritage to share their latest projects and experiences. We expect about 200 participants from Europe, USA and other countries. The conference language will be English.
It is a tradition of the LACONA Conferences to be accompanied with the exhibition of related instrumentation, especially for laser removal of unwanted substances on objects of art and monuments, coherent light-based methods for imaging, documentation and examination of objects and structures, and laser-based spectroscopic techniques for analysis and monitoring of objects of art.
To best of our knowledge, the profile of your Company fits very well to the scope of the meeting and exhibition. We believe that a close relationship between the producers and distributors of the equipment and the community of LACONA participants is of great importance for further development of laser-oriented methodologies in conservation science. Therefore, your participation in the Exhibit and/or plenary sessions of the Conference would be highly appreciated.
Companies interested in participating in the LACONA Conference can choose from the following forms of participation:
– exhibition of scientific equipment and/or display of brochures, books and other printed materials in standard 6 m2 booth – participation fee of 1000 Euro, including distribution of marketing materials;
– 15 minute oral presentation during a special technical session – participation fee of 300 Euro, including distribution of marketing materials;
– distribution of marketing materials only (attached to the conference materials distributed among the participants) for companies not attending the Conference (fee of 150 Euro applies).
